Tips for painting a room

 

Count at least 4 hours for one coat of paint in an average 4x5 m room.

A litre of paint will cover (one coat) about 16 sq.m.

Don’t cut corners: clean door and window frames, sand skirting boards (if you decide to paint them as well).

Scrub walls with sponge and sugar soap. Whatever the surface, it needs to be clean before painting.

Fix small cracks and holes with interior filler, sand.

Edge door, window frames and skirting boards before painting open surfaces.

Go for eco-paints. They’re better for the environment and for your health.
