2 .  How many tiles are in a pack for $25? What maintenance is required for tiles in the full sun??

Good Morning. A $25 pack contains 6 tiles (representing approx. half a metre square. The tiles are made of Acacia hardwood and are treated with a UV protective oil However like any timber product in the Qld weather they will require a periodic oil depending on how exposed and how much they are used. eg 12-18 months.

3 .  I am interested on getting a freight/ delivery cost to Port Lincoln in South Australia, for enough Interlocking hardwood decking tile to cover an 8 msq area. Also, do you need anything else to lay the interlocking wood tiles onto a tiled verandah??

Hello Lucinda. 8 square metres is approximately 16 packs (6 Tiles / pack) You would need to measure the area to see how many individual tiles would be required. Each tile is 285mm square when interlocked together. The freight charges for 16 packs to South Australia is approximately $75 There is no need to lay anything under the tiles. They go straight over the top of an existing surface and do not require glues or screws. The interlocking nature of the tiles and the weight of the tiles when interlocked prevent them from moving. 4 .  Hi, would the timber tiles handle being exposed to both sun and water? We are looking at using the tiles over an existing brick base at the back of our house, and when it rains, the area gets wet. Thanks, Michelle ?

Hello Michelle. The decking tiles are hardwood timber so are suitable for outside and being exposed to sun and water. Understandably, being a timber product and exposed to the elements they are subject to wearing so will need to be oiled like any other timber deck product. (eg annually) If they are under some cover then the frequency of oiling the tiles is a lot less. The tiles will go straight over the brick base and will not require glue or screws as the interlocking nature of the tile and the weight of the tiles when locked together prevents the tiles from moving. 5 .  Hi There I have an area (Balcony) aprox 1740 mm X 3250 mm how many tiles would be required to cover this area, do the tiles come in a straight panels as apposed to diagonal as shown in the pictures, What would be the cost to purchase tiles and shipping to Ramsgate Beach in Sydney, Can the tiles be cut to fit if need be Regards Ryan. ?

Hello. The tiles are approx. 285mm square when linked together. From the dimensions you have given you would need 7 tiles * 12 tiles = 84 Tiles This would involve some cutting of the tiles. Otherwise you could find an alternative way to have a border eg Timber Board and you could get away with 66 tiles. The tiles come in packs of 6 and would work out to be $30/pack delivered to your address. We do have the horizontal bar tiles as well as the diagonal tile. Hello Nigel. The click deck tiles are 285mm wide when linked together. This would mean that you would need approximately 49 tiles * 11 tiles. (539 tiles which would equate to 90 packs of 6) This is approximately 1 pallet load of tiles which would be $175 to send to your address in Sydney. This would leave a total invoice amount of $2425. 7 .  Do the tiles need a hard surface underneath? can they be installed on crushed rock??

Hello. Firstly sorry for the delay. The question got lost in the mail filter. The tiles can be installed on crushed rock. The main consideration is that the tile will reflect the contours on the base so the flatter the surface the flatter the finished result. The hardwood timber is attached to a polypropolene base that is raised to allow water to drain away underneath the timber. If the base is too soft the tile will tend to squeeze into the base leaving an uneven finish on top. As long as the crushed rock is well packed you will not have any problems. Regards.

Hello. We are based in Kawana on the Sunshine Coast. Generally delivery works out to be around $2 / pack. For delivery to Corinda I would estimate around $50-$60. Hello Coen. The tiles are actually 285mm square when interlocked together. It really depends on the area being tiled as to whether you cut tiles to suit the area or if you leave some sort of border around the outside to minimise cutting. We do have a bevilled edge tile that is 70mm wide that may be used. ($2 each) Freight charges are approximately $4 / pack depending on quantities. Regards, Darren Ryan

Hello Gerrard. With regards to the area you require, the tiles are 285mm square when locked together. In this case you would require 20 full tiles & 20 full tiles. You may choose to have a small border around the tiles that will save you around 39 tiles. Four hundred tiles equates to 67 packs at $25 / pack -- $ 1675.00. Freight up to Townsville is approximately $150. This will need to be confirmed depending on the courier company and how they are to be unloaded at the receiving end. ie Individual boxes or pallet of tiles. The tiles are designed to go over any existing hard surface so they will be fine going over existing decking. Good Morning. The actual tiles are 285mm wide when interlocked together. Based on those dimensions you would need 15 tiles wide (4200mm) and 17 tiles long (4800mm) to cover the full area. 17 * 15 = 255 Tiles (42.5 Packs). This would require some trimming of the tiles to fit. The other option is to leave a border so that you don't have to cut the tiles eg stones, length of timber, etc. (This would save 31 tiles). Good Afternoon. The decking tiles when locked together are 285mm square. For your dimensions you would be looking at 3450mm (12 tiles) and 3030mm(11 tiles) -- a total of 132 Tiles or 22 packs. The price would be $550.00 plus delivery. (Approx. $50) The 3030mm length would need the tiles to be trimmed to fit exactly.
