Successful lawn care programs start with a good dethatching or “power raking” job.
The CROMMELINS BlueBird PR18 can cover an 18” swath and will achieve superior results in a variety of grass and soil conditions.
Several new features separate BlueBird from the competition:
Choice of easily interchangeable flail blades for removing matted thatch, Delta slicing blade for thinning running stem grasses, or spring tine reels for removing thatch from well-manicured lawns. The spring tines are mounted differently than on previous models to make the tines last longer at higher RPMs.
To maintain a consistent depth control while dethatching, all models have 7 preset height adjustments that are in ¼” increments –no more variation from a dial control.
Comes with a three-position handle for user comfort and a fourth folded position for transporting.
The new handle is ergonomically designed with padded grips. This is more comfortable for the operator and reduces fatigue on the job.
The “over-centre” bail design guarantees proper belt engagement and
disengagement every time.
Vacuum formed plastic belt and bearing shields that act both as protective cover for components, but also act as a safety feature for the operator.
